Miguel holds the following qualifications: STA (Swimming Teaching Association) Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching – Baby and Pre-School and STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming, an STA Safety Award for Teachers that he updates every two years and undergoes enhanced DBS checks at regular intervals. Miguel also spent a month in the USA studying and qualifying in teaching survival swimming. He holds Lifeguard Qualifications from both the Spanish Federation and the Royal Lifesaving Society UK.
Miguel as an ISA Co-founder has been delivering International Swimming Academy’s Qualified Instructor Training in Spain and the UK since 2015. He has led ISA seminars for other Swimming Schools and Instructors to educate them on alternative and more effective ways of teaching families water safety.
